News in the Shop:
Happy Tuesday Everyone,
This is an exciting week at Heavenly Threads. It's Market week. For those that are new in the quilting world, this is the week that we go to the International Quilt Market in Houston. It is our version of getting the "Sears Christmas Toy Catalog". We will spend 4 day walking the George R Brown convention center looking at everything new in the quilting world. With that being said, we will be closed on Friday and Saturday so David and I can go. We will be open on Tuesday as normal. We have added a few classes so look below to see that info. Hope everyone has a great quilting week.
PS. I am doing a "Santa's Helper" Wish List (Gift Registry). Come in and go through the shop and make your wish list. At our Open house your family and friends can come in and get exactly what you want and we will gift wrap it.
Classes and Important Dates:
October 29th - Nov 1 - Houston International Quilt Festival - George R Brown convention center-
November 3rd Fat Quarter Tuesday. 7 FQ for $10.00 Any over are regular price
November 5th - Dancing Pinwheel Table runner class - 10:00-2:00 $25.00 This is a Ruler Revolution class. 4 people Minimum for the class to make so come in and reserve your spot.
November 7th - Christmas Craft Sale - We will be doing a craft sale at the shop. If you are interested in being part of it, called the shop.
November 9th - Miter in Minutes Baby Quilt. 5:00-8:00 $25.00 plus a $9.00 pattern. This is a Ruler Revolution class. 4 people minimum for this class.
November 12th - 1:00 - 4:00 Working with Wool for Beginners- $25.00 (Includes kit) We will make a simple mug rug to show you how easy working with wool can be.
November 17th - 10:00 - 4:00 Sleeping Beauty X Block Class $35.00 Lunch Included
4 people Minimum for the class to make so come in and reserve your spot.
November 21 10:00 - 3:00 - Davy Crockett Quilt Show/Christmas in Crockett - Crockett Texas
November 26th, 27th and 28th. Happy Thanksgiving. Shop will be closed.
Hexie Garden Table Runner - December 4th 10:00 - 2:00 $30.00 plus Pattern.
4 people Minimum for the class to make so come in and reserve your spot.
December 10 - 6:00 - 8:00 Christmas Open House. Come by for some holiday refreshments and deals for last minute gifts. May be a "Special Guest" Bring a can good for the local food bank and get a 10% off your purchase.
Shop will be closed December 25 - 26th for the Holiday.
