Good Tuesday to everyone!

Have you ever wondered where the time goes?  We just passed our 10th Anniversary for the shop.  It is so hard to believe, but I guess the saying "Time flys when you are having fun" is true.  The last 10 years have been hard at times, fun 99% of the time and definitately a learning experience.  We would like to thank everyone who has come into the shop and supported us.  When the Lord told me to go and open a shop in Trinity, Texas, I thought He was Crazy but we all know that HE is not and it is only because HE is involved that we have made it.  All the praise is His. 

I also would like to thank everyone who come out for Quilt Across Texas.  If you finished a region or qualified for several, you need to mail in your back page to go into the drawing.  Good Luck to everyone and as soon as we get the names of the winners, I will post it and send our another email.

If you have not been in the shop lately, we are doing more work.  David is here full time now, and what a blessing that is.  We got the hand rails at the front door, we and working on the lattice screen in the yard and adding plants too.  Things in the shop are moving around as always.  You know me, I move them on a regular bases. 

Saturday is our first on many miniature quilt shows.  We already have quilts turned in and expecting more.  There will be prizes given by viewers choice so be sure and come out and vote but also bring your (non quilting) friends so they can enjoy the quilts and vote too.  We are going to have a BIG sale starting Friday and Saturday.  I have pulled a bunch of patterns, and books to mark 40% off.  By Friday we will have a huge selection of bolts pulled and marked 50% off.  Don't worry, we are not going anywhere, we are making room for new stuff that we have already ordered or will get at Market.  It is just a special thing we like to do thank our customers for their support.

Classes and Important Dates:

October 18th - 12:00 to 4:00   Swiss Weaving Class

This is a wonderful class taught by Cathy Harston.  We have an example of what you will learn at the class.  The cost is $25.00 plus supplies.  I will have the kits ($25.00) ready to go for class.  All you will need to bring is a skein of Yarn. 

November 6th  NEW DATE One Block Wonder Class.  Cost will be 40.00 but includes copy of the book.  Come in and see my example.  They are beautiful and not that hard to do.  I had to reschedule the class because of Market.
