News in the Shop:
Hello everyone,
Hope you are all staying dry. David and I are trying to decide whether to drain the driveway or stock fish in it. I am sure the good Lord is laughing because for months we asked for rain and now He is sending it we want it to stop. We have been working hard at the shop with little projects here and there. When you come in the next time, you will see some of them. New screen door and a nice new cutting table. David has been busy. He does such a good job and I am so thankful he is here and able to help out. Summer is coming soon and that means Row by Row will be starting. June 21 is the official kick off date. Our license plates are here and our row is up for all to see. It will be great fun and hope you will come out and play.
Classes and Important Dates:
We are starting a new BEE at the shop. Ruler Revolution Bee. This Thursday there is a Table Runner project. Bring 3 coordinating FQ and 1/2 yard of Contrasting color. Third Thursday of every month 6:00pm to 9:00pm
Jammie Ackley will be demonstrating how to use several different rulers. FREE
AIRING OF THE QUILTS - Huntsville Square Saturday May 2. We will be there so come out and enjoy the wonderful quilts. The Folk festival is also the same weekend at the Sam Houston Park.
Fat Quarter Tuesday - May 5th - all day. Come in and buy 7 fat quarters for 10.00. Any over will be regular price.
Thread Catcher Class - Thursday May 14th - 1:00 till 4:00 Cost is 10.00. Bring a Fat Quarter for the outside and a coordinating Fat Quarter for inside of the catcher. I will supply the other needed supplies.
