News in the Shop:

Hello to all My Quilting Friends,

I know it has been a while since my last newsletter.  Sorry for the delay but we have been quite busy at the shop and it never seems to be enough time to get everything done.  Hope this newsletter fine everyone in good health and enjoy what is left of the summer.  As the year starts to come to a close, I wanted to fill you in on what all has happened at the shop and what is coming up.  So here are the highlights:

In June we did the "Shell we Quilt Shop hop" and kicked off "Row by Row".  I would like to thank everyone who came by and supported us doing the summer.  This year I decided to give a basket away as my way to say thank you for everyone who come out.  I am excited to announce Donna Lane is the winner of our basket.  Lisa Caldwell won the 25 fat Quarters for bringing in her finished Row by Row Quilt.  Hope you got to see it while it was in the shop.

September marked our 11th year in Business.  Can you believe we have been here that long? I guess the old saying "time flies when you are having fun" is true.

October is coming up and so is our 2nd "Best Little Quilt Show in Texas".   We are hoping to have another great collection of miniature quilts to display this year.   You still have time to get one made to enter.  We will be doing viewer choice for prizes.  First place is $75.00 gift certificate, second place is $50.00 gift certificate and third place will be $25.00 gift certificate for the shop.  The quilt can be any style or technique.  The only requirement is:  NO larger then 24" on any side.  Come out and vote for your favorites.   The end of the month is Market and of course the Houston International Quilt Festival.

Then of course the holidays sneak up on us and the next thing you know another year has passed.  I know we are all busy with this thing called life but I want you all to know that we do appreciate you and are grateful and blessed to call you our friends.  One more thing, if you need anything that David and I can help with, please give us a call.

Thanks again, and my God bless you and yours.
